Holiday Cottages
There are three cottages in the grounds of Yearle House, with the Coach House and Stable Cottage being part of the same building which have been recently renovated, and then Gardener’s Cottage in its own plot separate from the house, which retains its rustic and cosy character.
Both the Coach House and Stable Cottage are on our biomass heating system, so they are as warm as you like with piping hot water on tap! Gardener’s Cottage is yet to be renovated and works on electric heaters and a wood burning stove.
The Coach House
This unique apartment, located above the old garage, has an open, loft-feel dining and seating area, separate kitchen and two ensuite bedrooms, making the Coach House the perfect bolt-hole to come back to after a day out exploring the incredible sights nearby.
From the porch, come up the stairs to the light and open Coach House with original features and amazing views, there is lots of space to relax on the sofa and watch the LCD TV or curl up and read one of the many books, or even do some work on the large dining table using the fast Wi-Fi. There is a separate fully-equipped kitchen.

Stable Cottage
With a spacious, open-plan kitchen and living area, two ensuite bedrooms, combined with a private terrace, Stable Cottage is an ideal hide-away to relax in while enjoying the many attractions in this beautiful part of Northumberland.
Recently renovated to a very high standard, this cottage offers a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and big fridge-freezer, and dining area with large table and dresser. The back door takes you out onto the suntrap terrace, where there is a table with chairs. The living area with sofa and arm chairs, has an LED TV and there is even a nook with shelves full of books and games to while the hours away.
Upstairs, there are two ensuite bedrooms, one with a super king bed, which also can be made up as a twin, and the other has a king-sized bed and a Juliet balcony overlooking the garden. Both ensuite bathrooms have showers over the bath. The supremely comfortable beds are topped with Egyptian cotton and there are lots of great big fluffy towels to wrap up in.
Stable Cottage is heated by the biomass heating system, so the place is always warm and cosy and there are gallons of hot water, all from the greenest means possible.

Gardener’s Cottage
Set in its own large garden lies Gardener’s Cottage, a unique and rustic two twin bedroom property, with a shared bathroom with bath and shower, an open plan kitchen, dining and living area with a wood burning stove, making this cosy cottage the ideal rural escape.
Dating back to the 1950’s, this quirky cottage has masses of charm and our guests love the simplicity of the place and come back year after year. The property may be basic, but it proves to be very good value for money for those wishing to break away from the trappings of modern life and enjoy the great outdoors. This cottage doesn’t currently have WiFi, but there is an LCD TV with freeview and a DVD player with a selection of DVDs.
