Who are we?
We are a country house B&B in the Northumberland National Park. We are a family business and no individuals apart from ourselves have access to any details of contacts or visitors. At present all our bookings are handled via Airbnb so we have no access or records of payment information.
What information do we collect?
For our mailing list we collect email addresses of interested parties. These are collected via the signup form on our website. You may also be added to our mailing list if you have stayed in one of our properties. We collect no personal data apart from email addresses and names of our past visitors.
How do we use personal information?
Your email address will only be used for us to contact you regarding visits to Yearle House and Cottages and we never share details with any third parties.
What legal basis do we have for processing your personal data?
We never add people to our list without their consent and only contact them regarding legitimate interests.

We never share personal data.
Where do we store and process personal data?
Our mailing list is stored with MailChimp, our mailing list manager based in the US, which operates within the rules necessitated by the European GDPR ruling.
How do we secure personal data?
Our mailing list manager secures the personal data (email addresses) of those who have signed up for our list.
How long do we keep your personal data for?
Data (email addresses) will be retained indefinitely. Contacts and visitors are able to unsubscribe from our lists themselves and unsubscribe requests are honoured immediately.
